Skivims Inventory is a Google Sheets add-on designed with a singular focus on enhancing your inventory management process. At its core, Skivims is built to meticulously track and update your inventory, ensuring that your Stock sheet always reflects the current total count of each product. This feature is the backbone of Skivims, providing users with a reliable and efficient way to manage their inventory directly from Google Sheets.
Beyond its core functionality, Skivims offers a suite of additional features aimed at streamlining your inventory management process. These include the ability to reset data, upgrade your account for access to premium features, watch tutorial videos for guidance, download templates for consistent data entry, and manage notification emails for timely updates on inventory changes as well us get an embed url to host the Stock Sheet on a site or mobile app to give a 24/7 track of total stock of products.
First, make a copy of the Google Sheet template that is specifically designed to work with the Skivims Inventory add-on. Select and visit the google sheet link, On the menu Navigate to File > Make a copy, to make your own copy of the sheet. You can delete the original copy. In your copy of the sheet, navigate to Tools > Manage Form > Edit Form, to have access to your copy of the google form. You can find the template at the link below:
First download/copy the Google Sheet and Google Form Templates
On your copy of the Google Sheets, access the Add-ons menu by navigating to Extension > Get add-ons. This will take you to the Google Marketplace, search for 'Skivims Inventory' and install it.
Follow the prompts to authorize Skivims to access your Google Sheet.
Aside the Add-on's core functionality of keeping a product update through its Response sheet and subsequently keep an updated real time product count on the Stock sheet. The main menu of the add on has additional features.
Reset: Clicking on this option will prompt you to confirm if you want to reset all data. If confirmed, all data in the 'Response' and 'Stock' sheets will be deleted. The reset button is used when you want to start your inventory system all over.
Upgrade: This option will redirect you to our pricing page where you can upgrade your account to access additional features. It is free of charge to use the add-on, but users who have not upgraded cannot have more than 8 product items in their stock and can also not receive email notifications when their Response table which keep track of product list is updated. Upgraded users can set an email for notifications and can keep track of limitless product items.

Download Template: This option will open a modal dialog with a link to download our inventory template.
Notification Email: Skivims allows you to manage notification emails for inventory updates.
Set Email: Clicking this option will prompt you to enter an email address for notifications. If an email is already set, you will be asked if you wish to change it.
Remove Email: This option will remove the current notification email.
Change Email: This option will prompt you to enter a new email address for notifications.
When a form is submitted, Skivims will automatically update the 'Response' and 'Stock' sheets based on the submitted data. If the user is has upgraded and set email notifications, an email notification will be sent to the notification email address.
